God hates abortion. Although God is very gracious toward anyone who repents of the sin of abortion, it is still, in the sight of God, a horrible sin. Abortion is inspired by Satan, as Jesus said of Satan in John 8:44, “He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Satan considers every abortion, to be a sacrifice to him. Zachary King, a former satanist who left the the occult, told of how they would sometimes have occult worship services in an abortion clinic during an abortion procedure. In New Mexico the Temple of Satan operates an abortion clinic which uses a “Religious Abortion Ritual.” Whether there is a ritual or not, for whatever reason, Satan considers every abortion to be a sacrifice to him. Babies, born or unborn, are made in the image and likeness of God, and since Satan has an intense hatred for God, that same hatred is directed toward those babies.
One lie that Satan, the father murder and lies, tells religious people to deceive them, is that Jesus never said anything against abortion, so it must be alright. That is not true. The word “abortion” is not found in the Bible, but the issue is there. Jesus was the most pro-life man that ever lived. His statement was, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). It is one thing to just say that you are pro-life. Jesus did more than just say it. The Lord Jesus gave up His life because He is pro-life. As Jesus also told His disciples in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” If the Lord Jesus died to give life, is it asking too much for us to stand up and speak up for life?
The Bible also says of Jesus, “In Him was life,” (John 1:4). Any created thing that has life only has life because Jesus Christ put life into it. So then, life is a gift from God, and it is a gift that only God can give. That applies to both physical life and to spiritual life. Since humans are made in the image and likeness of God Himself, that means that the life which God has given a person is very sacred. Whoever takes away that life is stealing the gift of God, as Jesus said, “The thief cometh not , but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10).
People have all kinds of arguments to justify abortion. They might be able to win an argument against other people, but on judgment day they will not be arguing against mere human beings. They will be giving account to Jesus Christ Himself, the God who gave them life. Whether that baby was conceived in rape or in incest or in any other way, it doesn’t matter. That baby has life because Jesus Christ gave it to him, and Jesus loves him, and nobody has the right to take away the life which Jesus gave him. Whether or not that baby is healthy or disabled, it doesn’t matter. It won’t be easy to justify before Jesus Christ that they took away the life which Jesus gifted to the unborn.
