In the wild, mother bears are equipped with soft, padded paws. They use these paws to gently caress, comfort, and frolic with their baby cubs. But on the ends of these paws the mama bear is equipped with long, sharp, and dangerous claws with which she will tear and shred anyone or anything that threatens her cubs with danger. You’d better not come between a mama bear and her cubs. If you do, you better have life insurance. When a mother bear thinks that her young ones are in danger, she will forget about her own safety and well being and will fight to the death until the threat is removed.
God has built into human mothers the same maternal instincts. In today’s world of materialism and selfishness, the natural maternal instincts are suppressed in many woman who consider their young ones to be a burden and an unwanted interruption in the course of her life, a problem that can be solved in an abortion butcher shop. We pray that those who do so will repent of their sin before judgment day, because such abuses will be severely dealt with.
However, with a mother who takes her responsibilities seriously, when she perceves her young to be in danger, she will disregard any danger to herself and will protect her children with her life. A godly mother will run into a burning building to rescue her baby. She won’t say, “I’ll let this one go. I can have another one later.”
The world has always been dangerous for children, but today the dangers for our children are compounded by godless bureaucrats. They pass and enforce policies which knowingly and put helpless, innocent children in danger. It is not enough butcher the babies of parents who don’t want their children. They are also putting the children of good parents in danger. Our southern border is now left wide open, inviting multitudes of dangerous criminals, including terrorist and child molesters, to flood in and live next door to us. During the recent covid-19 scam, children were forced to wear face masks which were very unhealthy and totally ineffective in detouring the spread of the sickness. Parents were encouraged, coerced and deceived into accepting the dangerous covid shots for themselves and for their children, resulting in many miscarriages, still births, and vaccine injuries. The bureaucrats aren’t just letting our children be hurt. They are trying to hurt our children.
Physical dangers are not the only kind of danger, nor are they the worst. Our public schools and universities are committed to the moral destruction of our young. Judges have ruled that in our schools, godless teachers can do anything they want to the children, and parents have no say in the matter. Parents are classified as “domestic terrorists when they object to pornographic materials made available to their children in grade schools. They train our children to be communist revolutionaries. They try to isolate children from their families and make them distrust their parents and their guidance. Teachers tell their students that boys can become girls and that girls can become boys, encouraging them to submit themselves to sexual mutilation from which they can never recover. Perverse “drag queens” are brought in to perform before children without the knowledge or consent of the parents.
All these assaults on our children are inspired by Satan’s kingdom of darkness. The agents of Satan are everywhere and have declared war against the Christian family. We cannot win the war against our children except by the power of the Holy Spirit. The devils screamed in terror at the sight of Jesus Christ when He walked on earth, and they still cower in fear when the name of Jesus is invoked by godly parents.
First, a parent must have a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ with a pure conscience so that God will hear his prayers. Second, parents must eliminate, wherever possible, all the influences of the kingdom of darkness, by, among other things, withdrawing them from godless public schools. Third, parents must equip their children by explaining, in age-appropriate ways, the dangerous lies and tricks which the agents of Satan want to use to hurt them. Fourth, a parent must seek out other parents and concerned persons and bind together with them in prayer, seeking God’s direction in what united action to take. Our strategies won’t work, but God’s will. Fifth, every parent must be prepared, in God’s strength, to face any persecution and consequences for taking a stand against the kingdom of darkness. Sixth, and very, very important, a parent must bathe each child in prayer every day. Before a child climbs out of bed in the morning, a parent must have already prayed for God’s hedge of protection around that child from all dangers, material and spiritual.
