The Bible says in Psalm 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, ‘There is no God.'” If you believe that life could arise without God, the Bible says that you are a fool. If you believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution, the devil thinks that you are a fool because you believe his lie. The theory of evolution, as elaborated by Darwin, is a lie inspired by Satan, and many multiplied millions of lost souls are now burning in hell because they believe this lie. But it’s not just the lost. Many gullible Christians, even born-again Christians, are deceived into thinking that someone can believe both in the Bible and in evolution. But the two are incompatible. If one is true, the other cannot be true. I’m just going to give a few reason why Darwin’s theory of evolution cannot be true and why it is incompatible with the Bible. The Bible teaches that the all-wise and all-knowing God created man in His own image from the dust of the earth. Evolution teaches that lifeless chemicals organized themselves by chance and formed a complex structure with all the components necessary for that structure to reproduce itself. Cosmic evolution says that a random explosion brought the entire material universe into existence about 13.7 years ago, and planet earth emerged out of that material about 4.5 billion years ago. In other words, nothing made everything. The Bible teaches that the all powerful God created the earth and all the material universe about six thousand years ago. Both biological and cosmic evolution teach that amazingly complex structure came into being by pure chance and for no reason, and that they organized themselves randomly by an unguided process. Biblical creation says that all the complex structures, both biological and cosmic, were engineered and built by an infinitely wise and infinitely powerful God who continues to sustain His creation.
Evolution requires long eons of time — millions and billions of years — both for the evolution of the cosmos and for the evolution of biological life. To support their theory they resort to different kinds of radiometric dating to prove the millions and billion years that they need. There are several kinds of radiometric dating: carbon-14, lead-uranium, potassium-argon, and several others. All the different types of radiometric dating have one thing in common: none of them work. A penguin feather was dated at 8,000 years old, but the penguin was still alive. Mollusc shells were dated at 27,000 years old while the molluscs were still alive. Twenty years after Mount St. Helen erupted in 1980, a sample from the lava dome was dated at 350,000 years. Mt. Huslslsi, Hawaii, erupted in 1801. A sample from the eruption was dated at 1,600,000 years. In short, no kind of radiometric dating works, and they cannot prove that the earth is millions and billions of years old.
There are many reasons why we know that it is impossible for the earth to be 4.7 billion years old, as evolutionary geologists require. Since the moon in its orbit is moving away from the earth, 1.4 billion years ago the moon would be touching the surface of the earth. Since the magnetic field of the earth is growing weaker, 25,000 years ago the magnetic field would have been too strong for life to exist.
Darwin’s evolution is immoral, unscientific, and totally ridiculous. It requires that sometime in the distant past there was an original organic, single-celled organism which randomly self-assembled, reproduced, mutated, and diversified to become the ancestor of all biological organisms living today. Eventually there was a descendant of that original organism which was related to monkeys, chimpanzees, and apes. This ape-like organism became the ancestor of all mankind. Even the very first step of that process is absolutely impossible. Every biological organism has in every cell a very complex library of information, encoded on molecules of DNA like a biological software. Every cell also contains a complex mechanism to duplicate that coded library of information, and also another complex mechanism to read the information. It is impossible for such a sophisticated, coded library of information to appear by natural means. Somebody had to write the information. Someone had to invent the mechanisms by which the coded library could be copied and and read. There is no natural process by which the biological software can upgrade itself, as evolution would require, so that one original organism can upgrade itself into another organism, so that an ape-like creature can eventually upgrade itself into a human. In other words, the process of evolution can’t even begin by natural processes.
In order to make the Darwin’s theory of evolution seem acceptable to Christians, Satan uses arguments to make it seem that evolution is compatible with the Bible. It is not, and for many, many reasons. The one reason which I mention here is that, according to the Bible, it was man’s sin that brought death into the word, and that before man sinned there was no death. Evolution teaches that creatures were dying long before man ever existed. They can’t both be right. Don’t be the devil’s fool. Don’t let Darwin make a monkey out of you.
Evolution is not just ridiculous and unscientific. It is also wicket and immoral. Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Pol Pot, Margaret Sanger, and many other of the world’s worst mass murderers believed in evolution and were emboldened by it to do their evil work. That is only logical. If biological life, and the material universe itself, came into being by natural processes, that means that it was not created by God. Who can tell if God even exists? And if there is no God, that means that there is no authority to determine what is right or wrong, and there is nobody to give account to. If we come from nowhere and go to nowhere, and if there is no God to give purpose to our being, why not kill all those people to gain power and possessions? Why not butcher a baby in an abortion clinic? If there is no God, why shouldn’t a child molester do what he does? Why shouldn’t a bank robber do what he does? But if there is a God, that means that nobody is getting away with anything. If somebody doesn’t believe in God now, he will believe in God on the day when he stands before the judgment seat of Jesus Christ to give account for everything he has ever done.
